Pamela earned her degree in Speech Pathology, an academic background that has strengthened her work with students by providing a strong understanding of child development, psychology, and neurology. This foundation allows her to better understand how students learn and process information and to tailor her approach to each student’s individual strengths, challenges, and learning style.

She believes there is no single approach that works for every student and adapts her coaching accordingly. Whether breaking larger tasks into smaller, manageable steps, incorporating visual supports, or finding creative ways to explain challenging concepts, she strives to make learning feel approachable, achievable, and engaging. Her compassionate and encouraging nature helps students feel comfortable asking questions, working through challenges, and building confidence.

She especially values developing strong relationships with her students and getting to know them as individuals. With patience and encouragement, she helps students recognize their progress, strengthen their independence, and develop greater confidence in their abilities.

Outside of coaching, she has played guitar for more than 12 years and enjoys reading, training dogs, and learning Japanese. As a lifelong learner herself, she understands both the excitement and challenges that come with developing new skills and hopes to inspire that same curiosity, resilience, and confidence in her students.

Favorite Book:
My favorite author is Brandon Sanderson because of how immersive his books are. The worlds he creates are incredibly detailed and are easy to lose yourself in, and all of the characters are fleshed out and are as complicated as real people. The main reason why I love Sanderson, is because of how often he makes the main character a beautifully written strong and complex female character.
