Simone T.
Simone graduated summa cum laude from Wellesley College with a major in Psychology and a minor in Cinema & Media Studies. A lifelong writer, she began supporting other students at Wellesley, where she worked as both a writing tutor and a teaching assistant for a writing-intensive course.
Simone is also an accomplished screenwriter whose work has earned placements in both the Austin Film Festival and Atlanta Film Festival Screenplay Competitions. She writes about film, television, and pop culture on Substack and is particularly interested in making complex ideas feel clear, specific, and accessible.
In her coaching, Simone creates a comfortable and collaborative environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and communicate openly about what is and is not working for them. She believes coaching should feel like a partnership and adapts her approach to each student’s individual needs, helping them develop stronger organization, planning, time management, and academic habits while building confidence and independence.
Outside of coaching and writing, Simone enjoys exploring local coffee shops, watching movies, and spending time with friends.

Favorite Study Skill:
I loved rewriting the most important concepts from the unit on a sheet of paper, preferably in an aesthetic way, and then using that sheet to review for tests. Particularly covering up the concepts and testing my recall.
Favorite Book:
Currently, I've been really enjoying Rebecca Serle's books. She does a great job of exploring the concept of fate in romance in creative, thought-provoking ways. My current favorite book is Lori Gottlieb's "Maybe You Should Talk to Someone."
