Katherine graduated Cum Laude from Cornell University, where she earned both her Bachelor’s and Master of Engineering degrees in Biomedical Engineering. Recognized for her exceptional scholarship and leadership, she was a Meinig Family Cornell National Scholar a distinction awarded to students with extraordinary leadership potential through which she completed advanced leadership training and devoted over 150 hours annually to community service. She was also named a John McMullen Dean’s Scholar, Cornell Engineering’s highest honor, and consistently appeared on the Dean’s Honor List.

What distinguishes Katherine as a Coach is her commitment to mastery-based, adaptive learning. Whether it’s breaking down complex equations step by step, connecting abstract concepts, or presenting problems from new perspectives, she remains patient and persistent until her students truly grasp the material.

Outside of coaching, Katherine is an avid reader who enjoys exploring diverse perspectives through literature. She also has a deep appreciation for music and film as creative forms of storytelling. In her spare time, she collects and restores vintage jewelry a hobby that reflects her love of history, craftsmanship, and preservation.

Katherine’s coaching style is firm but compassionate with a view to encouraging independence as the student grows in their confidence.
