Rediet is an experienced academic tutor and coach with over nine years of experience working with students in educational, enrichment, and mentoring settings. He graduated from Loyola High School with Honors before earning his Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Loyola Marymount University, where he developed a strong understanding of learning, motivation, and individual differences among students. He completed his final year with a 4.0 GPA, reflecting his commitment to academic excellence and lifelong learning.

Rediet has a strong appreciation for science, mathematics, English Language Arts, writing, and Executive Functioning skills. His academic background has allowed him to develop strong analytical, critical thinking, and written communication skills. During his final upper-level psychology course, he earned a 97% on a 15-page research paper, demonstrating his ability to organize complex information and communicate ideas effectively.

Throughout his experience working with students, Rediet has developed an understanding that every student learns differently. He takes the time to get to know each student's personality, strengths, and challenges, adapting his approach to make difficult material more approachable and engaging.

Rediet is particularly skilled at helping students strengthen their reading comprehension, writing structure, grammar, vocabulary, mathematical reasoning, and understanding of scientific concepts. He also incorporates Executive Functioning strategies to help students improve their organization, critical thinking, study habits, and ability to break larger assignments into manageable steps.

With his background in Psychology, Rediet understands the importance of motivation, confidence, and individualized learning strategies. Rather than simply providing answers, he encourages students to understand the reasoning behind what they are learning and develop problem-solving skills they can apply independently.

Above all, Rediet's goal is to help students become more confident, capable, and independent learners. One of his favorite parts of coaching is seeing the moment when a challenging concept finally clicks and watching that understanding translate into genuine confidence.

Outside of academics, Rediet enjoys playing basketball, staying active, making music, and exploring topics related to human psychology and personal development.

My go-to study skill is organizing my time, space, and tasks so I can prepare for exams efficiently. I like breaking larger amounts of material into manageable tasks, creating a realistic study schedule, and keeping my workspace organized so I can stay focused and avoid feeling overwhelmed.

Favorite Book:
My favorite book is Sensation & Perception by E. Bruce Goldstein and James E. Cacciamani. I enjoy learning about how the brain processes sensory information and shapes the way we experience the world through our senses. It especially sparked my interest in psychology and how people process information differently.
