Danielle, a proud Los Angeles native, graduated cum laude from the University of California, Berkeley, with a B.A. in Media Studies.

With over five years of private tutoring experience, Danielle views learning as an opportunity for discovery and growth. She brings a thoughtful combination of empathy, creativity, and structure to her work and believes students thrive when they are understood as individuals with their own unique ways of processing the world.

Danielle focuses on understanding what may be underlying a student’s academic challenges and building supportive, transparent relationships that encourage curiosity and confidence. She helps students strengthen not only their academic skills but also the organization, systems, and self-awareness needed to approach challenges with greater independence.

Throughout her career, Danielle has worked with students across a wide range of ages, learning styles, and personalities. She has helped students develop stronger academic skills, confidence, organization, and self-advocacy. Her experience has shown her that students who appear overwhelmed or disengaged often have the ability to succeed but may need learning strategies that better align with their needs, stronger organizational systems, or a more meaningful connection to the material. Her approach begins by identifying each student’s individual needs and building upon their existing strengths.

Danielle’s background in Media Studies has also shaped her interest in how stories, culture, communication, and creativity influence the way people understand themselves and the world around them. As both a creative and analytical thinker, she sees imagination and intellectual curiosity as important parts of the learning process. Whether through writing, art, cultural analysis, or conversation, Danielle enjoys finding ways to make ideas engaging and accessible.

Outside of her professional and academic work, Danielle enjoys exploring Los Angeles’ live music scene, with tastes ranging from jazz and classical to pop, rap, folk, EDM, big band, opera, and country. She is also an avid reader and enthusiastic supporter of the Los Angeles Public Library. In her free time, she can often be found writing at the library, practicing yoga and breathwork, spending time with big dogs, or cheering on Shohei Ohtani at Dodger Stadium.
