Daniel V
Daniel earned his BA in Music at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA, and completed his MA in Music at the University of Houston. He is currently working on his Ph.D. in Ethnomusicology at the University of California, Riverside.
Daniel is an executive functioning coach with 8 years of experience in education, tutoring students as young as fourth grade and up to college level. Being a former Special Education teacher, he has experience working with students who possess IEPs, 504s, and other learning differences. Daniel is an expert in writing and reading support, teaching and playing music, and social-emotional learning.

At The Ladder Method, Rhys R is a junior coach and is a graduate of USC, with a degree in Biomedical (Molecular-Cellular) Engineering and Health Policy. She has accumulated 8 years of tutoring and teaching experience in a wide variety of age groups, primarily in STEM subjects and writing. She enjoys working with students to discover and develop a personalized interest in subjects that may initially seem foreign or difficult. Rhys is polished and professional with a wide breadth of knowledge, making her an aspirational mentor to all of her students.

Taylor B
Taylor is about to begin her sixth year of teaching students who are deaf and hard of hearing. Taylor majored in Education and English at the University of Memphis. She continued her studies at Vanderbilt Medical School, focusing on educating the deaf.
In LA, she works with over 20 schools with students who are deaf or hard of hearing on self-advocacy and auditory skills. Since 2018, she has also been tutoring students from ages 5 to 18 in a wide array of content areas. She has specialized training in reading interventions such as Wilson Reading System and S.P.I.R.E to help students who struggle with learning disabilities such as dyslexia and other phonologically based disorders. Her passion is helping students who lack confidence in reading and writing learn to express themselves and connect with authors who resonate with them.
