I have a B.S in Psychology from Stony Brook University, where I graduated with Cum Laude honors. I am currently pursuing my master's degree in Mental Health Counseling at CUNY Baruch College.

Ever since I graduated from college, I have grown a strong passion for supporting young children in both their academic and personal growth. I started my career journey working as a Group Leader at the Boys' Club of New York, where I mentored and guided children in a safe and engaging environment. I later became an ABA Instructor at the Manhattan Childrens Center, where I taught students with Autism Spectrum Disorder to build their academic, social, and self-management skills. These experiences taught me the importance of building trust, fostering meaningful relationships, and serving as a positive role model in their lives. These are qualities that I would bring as a tutor.

What makes me unique as a tutor is my ability to make learning fun, creative, and supportive so students stay focused and motivated. I believe patience and encouragement are necessary skills to help students feel comfortable and confident to learn. I focus on teaching students productive skills, time management, self-discipline, and goal-setting skills that they can apply in their lives as well as academics.

Seeing young individuals flourish in their academics, careers, and personal growth is an inspiration to me because I want to contribute to their growth and empower them towards brighter futures. Helping young children overcome their challenges, discover their strengths, and reach their goals motivates me to help them in every way I can. I am committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where my students not only learn but also develop their skills to pursue their passion and maximize their opportunities.

Some of my favorite hobbies are playing volleyball, board games, video games, and spending time with friends and family! These hobbies keep me happy, active, and calm, which are qualities I bring to teaching.

Ultimately, my goal is to empower students to reach their full potential academically and personally, while guiding them toward developing a mindset that values growth, confidence, and success.
