With so much uncertainty this year, many parents are coming to us wondering how they can be efficient and more frugal when it comes to school supplies. Here are our top ideas for how to save while still outfitting yourself or your kids this Back to School Season.

01

Spiral Bound Notebooks

You don’t need to spend a ton of money to make sure your child has the right supplies for the virtual classroom. We love these spiral notebooks because they help keep kids organized in the classroom and notes are kept together as opposed to loose-leaf paper. We found a great deal right now at Walmart of all places! Click here for a link to see those notebooks for only $.25 cents. Or if you are really on a budget, rummage around the garage for the school supplies you didn’t use this past school year.

O2

Pencil Boxes

Who doesn’t loooovvve a good pencil box? Our students often use these to make statements, collecting different pencil boxes each year! We really recommend the following two styles of pencil boxes or cases. Here is a box from Staples that is easy to clean each year. Click here for the box that only costs $.50 per box. Other students love the pencil cases. Here are some great pencil cases for $2.89.

03

Printer Paper

Don’t forget to stock up on printer paper. We so often forget now with older teens able to turn things in electronically. But occasionally we still recommend printer paper for younger kids with reports and essays that need to be turned informally in person. You can get printer paper at any office supply store. And Amazon often has bundles for less than $20 for a large quantity.

04

Pencils

I also often ask my students to just keep their favorite items from last year! Why replace when we can just wash our old pencils and pens from last year. But, if your student lost their pencil bags or items, then we love these personalized pencils. You can make sure your student’s pencils are clearly marked with their name on them so no one gets confused! Each sibling can get their own set so there is less fighting!

05

Pens

Most students keep their favorite pens around their home workstations! But, if your student lost most of their items or just want a refresh, then we recommend these pens. Our students go crazy for the colored pens!
