How can we remember to stay high-minded and positive when there is so much uncertainty, anxiety and fear around us during this worldwide pandemic?

REMEMBERING WHAT YOU HAVE

It's really important to remember that we already have everything we need. And if you've already been working on yourself and working to be more positive, now is especially the time to dig deeper to be a light.

FOCUS ON HOW YOU CAN HELP OTHERS

If you have more financial certainty right now, try to help others and remind your kids to help others. It’s so important to be an inspiration to others. Help other people that may not have the same level of composure and faith so they, too, can operate from a deeper place of compassion, caring, and patience. 💫⠀

LIMIT EXPOSURE TO THE NEWS

It can seem counter-intuitive to limit contact when it feels as if the news might provide certainty. Remember, you can stay informed without binging on too much!

TRY TO FIND THE SILVER LINING

I have been focusing my investigations during this time on improvements in climate! Wuhan, China, during their weeks of quarantine, was experiencing better air quality, less pollution, and better overall health after shutting down their factories. We can learn from this.

Maybe this is also a time for us to stop and slow down even more and really see this as a moment to change -- to embrace love over fear, to embody compassion over the competition, to give someone a shopping basket in a crowded grocery line as a young man did for me today. ⠀

More than ever before, I'm seeing people spread positivity and show genuine acts of kindness. What are some of the ways you've seen people show up for each other the last 24, 48, & 72 hours? ⠀
⠀⠀
How have you been working on being more positive during this time?
