Coaching starts with 1 call. It ends when you can run the strategies without a coach.

  1. Discovery call. Client services asks about your goals, what keeps going wrong, and how your child (or you) learns best.

  2. Coach match. We match you with the coach best suited to the client's personality and objectives.

  3. Sessions. Weekly or biweekly, in your Dallas home or online. Each session covers skill building and follow-through, then puts the strategy to work on a real assignment or work project.

  4. Check-ins. Students, parents, or adult clients get regular progress check-ins.

  5. Graduation. Coaching ends once the client shows consistent independence with the strategies.

Who We Coach in Dallas

Most of the people we coach learn differently. About 70% of our clients are neurodivergent, most often with ADHD, autism (ASD), or executive functioning challenges. The framework runs on structure and positive reinforcement, with room to change course when a strategy stops working.

Age shapes the plan. Younger students start with organization, emotional regulation, and getting started on a task. By middle and high school, the work shifts to time management, study techniques, and independent work habits. College students and adults build their own productivity systems and planning tools, plus ways to stay motivated when nobody is checking.

Program details are on our executive function coaching in Dallas page.

What To have Ready for the Call

You don't need anything to book. The 30 minutes go further with 2 things: a short list of what goes wrong, and any school paperwork you already have.

Describe the problem the way you see it at home: "he sits down at 7 and the worksheet is still blank at 9" tells a coach more than "he can't focus." Here's how common problems line up with the executive function skill behind them and the strategies we use for each:

  • Homework doesn't start until bedtime → task initiation → micro-goals and structured accountability

  • Lost assignments and a backpack nobody can search → organization → visual planners, digital systems, and workspace setup

  • A 20-minute assignment eats the whole evening → time management → time-blocking, reminders, and realistic schedules

  • Directions forgotten halfway through → working memory → note-taking frameworks and recall techniques

  • Shutting down when the work piles up → emotional regulation → mindfulness and reflection to cut the overwhelm

  • Sticking with a study method that isn't working → cognitive flexibility → changing methods based on feedback

If your child has school paperwork, keep it nearby. In Texas, an admission, review, and dismissal (ARD) committee writes a student's IEP. A Section 504 plan, a recent report card, or a progress report helps too. None of it is required.

Adults: have your calendar or task list open, whatever shape it's in.
